Vintaglio was founded in 2009 in Dallas, Texas by artist, Dean Stith. After years of studying jewelry making and collecting antique intaglios from around the world, he felt it was time to create his own unique line of jewelry. While many of the original pieces were formed from wax seals, his jewelry quickly become much more than just beautiful impressions. This early love of working in wax has shaped this metalsmith by trade’s process and style.

Blurring the lines between sculptural form and traditional jewelry techniques, each Vintaglio piece is first crafted from hand-worked wax then cast into precious metals. This detailed process yields wearable, unique sculptures to be admired for generations.
